Don E. Pope, age 83, of Dunlap, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Erlanger Health System.
He was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church, avid gardener and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Pope; parents, Lawrence and Nellie Pope; four brothers, Rueben, Billy, Jimmy Pope and Donnie Hatfield; and sister, Barbaline Wolfe.
He is survived by his daughter, Rosie Nunley, Dunlap; granddaughter, Amber Nunley; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Johnson; three step-children, Lisa, Danny and Cindy; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Lanny Tate and Bro. Bill Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Pope Cemetery.
