Monday, Oct. 6 Startup Week Chattanooga Presents David Weinberger

Startup Week Chattanooga programming will officially begin with a keynote address from David Weinberger, a nationally-acclaimed author and researcher at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society. Widely recognized for his books Too Big to Know, The Cluetrain Manifesto and Small Pieces Loosely Joined, Weinberger is a much sought-after voice on how the Internet is redefining the way people interpret the world around them.

While presenting in Chattanooga, Weinberger will walk the audience through the notion that “The Future Is a Platform.” This event is a production of the Chattanooga Spirit Series. Click here to register.

Monday, Oct. 6 Community Videoconference with Brad Feld

Author, blogger, entrepreneur and venture capitalist Brad Feld will engage in a live video conference with Launch Tennessee CEO Charlie Brock at this Startup Week Chattanooga event. The public is invited to join the conversation and ask Feld their own questions during the videoconference. Feld is the co-founder of TechStars and Foundry Group and has authored several books about startups, including Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City. This event is sponsored by EPB and Fiber to the Home Council. A cash bar will be available to guests after the videoconference.
