Deanna Lane Meeks, 48, of Whitwell, TN, died Monday, September 29, 2014.
She was a member of Whitwell First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Aaron Meeks; father, George Spencer Lane; and grandparents, Beatrice and Tommy Cates.
She is survived by her husband, William Allan Meeks, Tracy City, TN; sons, Jacob Allan Meeks, Moneray, TN and Jeremiah (Brandi) Meeks, Whitwell, TN; sister, Elizabeth Holmes, Chattanooga; mother, Martha Cates Lane, Dunlap; and grandchildren, Sophia, Adrianna and Liam Meeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3 at 1 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Diehl and Rev. Tony Cates officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, where the family will receive friends Thursday, October 2 from 1-9 p.m. CDT.
