UTC Hosts FREE Football Clinic Saturday

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will host the annual Blue & Gold Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 at Finley Stadium.  Gates open at Noon and kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.). 

The football team will also hold its annual FREE Kids Clinic beginning at 12:15 p.m. on the field at Finley Stadium.  The clinic is open to youth ages 14 and under and registration begins when the gates open.   

Free hotdogs, courtesy of the UTC Mocs Club, and FREE Coke products, courtesy of the Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling Company will be available while supplies last.  There will also be on-field promotions and giveaways throughout the afternoon. 

Be sure to stick around following the football scrimmage as head coach Russ Huesman hands out awards.  He will announce the Spring Game Offensive and Defensive MVP and the recipient of the Bob Davis Winter Warrior Award.

Child Bitten By Dog In Bradley County

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a child who was bitten by a dog. While saturating an area in Bradley County, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling on the roadway with a child not restrained and sitting in a passenger’s lap inside the vehicle. Man Rescued From The Pocket Wilderness On Sunday

Rescue personnel started the Memorial Holiday weekend at the Pocket Wilderness hiking trails on Sunday morning. A man had been camping on the trails with friends Saturday night when the accident occurred.
