Robin Michelle Sutton Seymour, 52, of Rossville, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in a local hospital.


Robin grew up in the Fairview Community of Rossville and was a graduate of Rossville High School where she served as majorette and was a member of the band.  Following residencies in Crossville, Tn. and Georgetown, Tx.,, she returned to Rossville and was employed by Assemblies, Inc.  

Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dewey Lee and Maude Sutton, Sr., and Gilford T. and Lena M. Adams; father, D.L. Sutton, Jr.; and brother, Kevin Lee Sutton, Sr.


Survivors include her husband, Steve Seymour; son, Adam Tyler Beene; daughter, Andrea Beene (Travis) Alford; mother, Janice Sutton (Cecil) Harris; sister, Deborah Sutton (Danion) “Smitty” Smith; grandchildren, Dahlia, Ian, Davion, Makinze, and Baylee; special stepchildren, Chanavi, Tara, Sarah and Amy; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 23, at 5 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastors Jim Bennett and Joe Dodd officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 22, from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
