The 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival will take place Friday-Saturday at Ross' Landing. Performers include the Dismembered Tennesseans, The Greenbriars, Balsam Range, Sam Bush, Bluetastic Fangrass, Lone Mountain Band, Berklee College of Music Fiddlers, Chatham County Line, Keller & The Keels, Nashville Bluegrass Band and the Travelin' McCourys. Theatre, Music & Dance  

The Chattanooga Theatre Centre's production of Wiley and the Hairy Man will continue Friday-Sunday. Auditions for A Christmas Story, The Musical will be held Monday-Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. for young actors and 7:30 p.m. for adults. The Shaking Ray Levi Society's Old-Timey Avant-Garde Series begins Thursday at 9 p.m. with a performance by The Molecules, Korybantes and Red Okra King at the Barking Legs Theater. A celebration of Dennis Palmer's birthday will be held Friday-Sunday, Oct. 11-13, and feature performances by Konk Pack and Nief-Norf Project as well as the screenings of Dennis Palmer Date Night Movies.
