The Chattanooga History Center will present a walking tour, The Environmental History of Chattanooga, in Renaissance Park, at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 25th.

The History Center’s Executive Director and Historian, Dr. Daryl Black, will serve as tour guide, and he will meet registered participants at the pavilion building beside the Renaissance Park parking lot on Manufacturers' Road.

The fee is $5 per person (CHC members free). Pre-registration is required, and the deadline is Monday, September 24th.

The discussion on this walk through the park will cover the human impact on the area through the Civil War, industrialization, and the renaissance from a site that has witnessed the best and the worst of it all.
