Mary Frances Inez Brown, 73, of Menlo, GA, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born November 22, 1938 in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late Albert W. Smith and Maggie L. Brown Smith. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy David Smith; and sisters, Shirley Smith Rabdeau and Janice Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Tiny W. Brown; daughters and husbands, Libbie and Perry Carnes, Tammy and James Johnson and Lisa and Marty Johnson; sisters and husbands, Lula Mae Gentry, Leona Prince, Carolyn and Hoyt Hanks, Betty and Kelly Wentz, Minnie Smith, Beth and Jack Wentz; brothers and wives, George and Mary Sue Smith, Junior and Shirley Smith, Wiley and Marsha Smith; and grandchildren, Casey Christol, Matthew Christol, Cody Johnson, Bobby Fennell, Joey Fennell, Jennifer Reece, Emily Hampton, Maggie Johnson and Sam Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 5, at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Green and Rev. Scott Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Ami Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Casey Christol, Matthew Christol, Bobby Fennell, Joey Fennell, Sam Johnson, and Kevin Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the Ladies Sunday School Class of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 4.
