The game remained scoreless until the sixth inning, when the Suns broke the ice with two runs. Chattanooga countered in the seventh with three runs. Blake Smith led off with a solid single to left, and Nunez blasted a home run off of starter Jose Alvarez (5-8) to tie-up the score. C.J. Retherford then ripped a triple to center to continue the rally. After a Bobby Coyle ground out, Joe Becker singled to drive home Retherford.
