25th Annual Taster's Luncheon To Benefit Walter E. Boehm Birth Defects Center Is Sept. 15

Alpha Beta members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) invite the public to their 25th annual Taster's Luncheon and Fall Fashion Show benefiting the Walter E. Boehm Birth Defects Center on Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church on Lee Highway. 

Doors open at 10 a.m. for Chinese Auction fun while members busily prepare an assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres, salads, and desserts for guests served buffet-style at 11:30 a.m. 

The newest fall fashions from Catherine's and Christopher & Banks will be modeled throughout the luncheon by members and friends of ESA. 

"Emceed by Jed Mescon of WRCB Channel 3, this event is one you won't want to miss," organizers said.

Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch

A 20-year-old man was shot twice while standing on his porch on Monday night. At approximately 8:44 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Walker Street.
