15.13% Of Chattanooga Bar Association Members Counted In Biennial Bar Poll

The judicial poll conducted by the Chattanooga Bar Association every two years has been released, and 15.13 percent of the membership were counted.

There were 747 polls mailed in November of 2011, and 128 were received. Ten were late and five had no signature so 113 were counted.

All local judges were rated on objective and unbiased, legal ability, good moral character, diligence and judicial temperament.

Police Blotter: Burglars Try To Batter Through Oak Street Wall; Hooter's Girl Gets In The Mix

Police made an arrest of a man with a lengthy criminal record after loud banging was heard at the rear of a building at 2500 Oak St. It was found that someone had tried to batter their way through a cinder block wall.
