Parkridge East Hosts Labor Day Soiree Aug. 25

Expectant moms are invited to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of motherhood at Parkridge East Hospital’s annual Labor Day Soiree on Aug. 25.


The event begins at 9 a.

m. at the hospital and will include a tour of The Birth Place at Parkridge East, a First Things First parenting class, and a panel discussion featuring experts in pregnancy and newborn health. Attendees will also have the opportunity to register for door prizes and visit vendor booths offering unique baby gifts and apparel. Expectant moms will wrap up the morning as the guests of honor at a special “Labor Day” baby shower.

Senate Health Committee Passes Alexander And Colleagues’ Bill To Fix Responsibility For Safety Of Sterile Compounded Drugs

Police have arrested an 18-year-old, four 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old in connection with several back-to-back robberies.
