Paterno Statue Should Be Removed And Replaced With Victims Memorial

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

I am an avid college (and some pro teams) football and basketball fan.  Just say Paterno, Dean Smith,  Duke coach Mike K (I don't dare try to spell his last name) the late Tom Landry (I go back awhile) and I think of integrity.

I am so sorry that the late Paterno has had his name besmirched, however, the HALO says it all - football and Paterno ruled at PSU.  Jay Paterno really should not appear on any more programs - the more he defends those accused, the more it stings the victims.

The statue should be removed and be replaced with a memorial to the victims.

Also, if Georgia doesn't win their division title it isn't because of their schedule.  They are playing no one, period.  The Ole Ball Coach said it right, "I wish  I had Georgia's schedule."

It is just my opinion but there seems to be a driving force of setting the event up for failure and for what?    The event survived a ... (click for more)
