Memorial Announces New Officers And Board Members

Memorial announced officers and new members of the Memorial Health Care System Board of Directors.

Katherine Lindgren, PhD, RN, CCRN, director of the School of Nursing at the University of Tennesseeat Chattanooga, is serving as chair for a second term.

Charles L. Arant, president of the Tennessee Aquarium, is chair-elect and immediate past chair.

Sister Judith Raley, SCN, will continue serving as secretary of the board.

New members of the board include John F. Boxell, MD, retired head and neck surgeon,David B. Dodson, MD, internal medicine specialist, and William P. Warren, MD, cardiologist.

Other board members include: Leo M. Brown, CLU, ChFC, AEP, partner, Davis, Smith & Brown; Robert C. Greving, retired executive vice-president, Unum Group; James L.E. Hill, retired chief executive, Lupton Company; Sr. Earline Hobbs, SCN, coordinator of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Community Ministry; James M. Hobson, president and chief executive officer, Memorial Health Care System; Christopher T. McKee, vice president, McKee Foods; John P. Nash, MD, orthopedic surgeon, Chattanooga Bone and Joint Center; Cynthia Nesson, partner, Yarn Work/Fiber Works Art Studio; M. Elizabeth O’Brien, senior vice president of operations, Catholic Health Initiatives, James H. Pesnell, retired senior vice president, Cigna Insurance; Wayne T. Scott, MD, internal medicine specialist, Carolyn H. Smeltzer, Ed.D., RN, owner, Consulting Healthcare Services, Sr. Elizabeth Vannucci, SCN, retired, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Community Ministry; and  Aaron D. Chattanooga Kids On The Block Receives $2,500 Grant
