Crime Stoppers: Robbery At Highway 153 Save-A-Ton

Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information regarding a robbery at Save-A-Ton at 5701 Highway 153, Chattanooga.

Police responded to a robbery from a business at Save-A-Ton on May 25, at approximately 06:30 a.m. A white male entered the store with a long barreled weapon of some kind. The suspect demanded money from the register. He then told the clerk to get on the ground and he grabbed some packs of cigarettes from behind the register. 

 

The suspect is a white male that is 5’8” to 5’11” and 180–195 pounds.

He was wearing brown hooded jacket, blue jeans, and a yellow or orange bandana around his face. The weapon appeared to have a pistol grip. This weapon could possibly be a shotgun.

Pickup Truck Goes Through Wall On Cummings Highway

A pickup truck crashed through a wall on the side of Lookout Mountain during a heavy downpour on Sunday afternoon. The accident was on Cummings Highway just up from John C. Wilson Park. The vehicle landed on its side. (click for more)
