Dipped Fresh Celebrates Grand Opening Aug. 3

Dipped Fresh will celebrate its grand opening ribbon cutting on Aug. 3, at 4 p.m. The business is at 221 River Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37405. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event.

 

Dipped Fresh specializes in hand-dipped chocolate covered fruit and ice cream bars, gourmet sandwiches, smoothies, fresh spinach salads with fruit, specialty creations (chocolate covered bacon and pineapple), event catering and holiday platters.

 

Dipped Fresh focuses on making fresh to order items for customers. Dipped Fresh also has nutritious kid menu offerings, rotating dessert cakes and pies, a wide variety of refreshing beverages and pocket friendly pricing on its beer selection.

 

Hours of operation are:

10 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday - Friday

12-6 p.m. on Saturday

1-6 p.m. on Sunday

Proni’s – Don’t Be Paranoid, It’s Just Pizza!

Miguel Morales, long time associate at Carabba’s Italian Grill, is opening a new restaurant in the old location of Blacksmith’s at 3914 St. Elmo Ave. 1855 Grill will be a “southern coastal” restaurant with a bar to accompany the food, he said. Woman Killed In Early-Morning Wreck On Thrasher Pike

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Thrasher Pike early Saturday morning. Soddy Daisy Police Chief Phillip Hamrick said a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Erlanger Hospital by LifeForce helicopter about 3:15 a.m. The driver was transported by Hamilton County EMS. It is believed he had non-life threatening injuries. ... City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The City Council on Tuesday is to consider a resolution to apply for a $25 million federal TIGER grant. The city would still have to come up with $21,825,000 through "local funds or grants."
