McCallie Debate Coach Nancy Green Headed For Harvard

McCallie School math teacher and high school debate coach Nancy Green has been invited to instruct at the Public Forum Debate Camp for the Harvard Debate Council July 14-27 at Harvard University.

Coaches receive this recognition by earning 1,000 coaching points. They receive 1/10 of a point for each point a student earns during competition. A student gets six points for each win and three points for a loss.
The Quad Ruby Award is named for longtime forensics coach and former NFL Board President Donus Roberts. The NFL is the nation’s oldest and largest speech and debate honor society.
McCallie has produced three Debate All-Americans under Mrs. Green’s guidance.
