Ally Fien to Sign with Union College

Soddy Daisy senior soccer player Ally Fien plans to sign an athletic scholarship with Union College (Ky.) today and enroll in the fall.

Fien lettered four years in soccer for Soddy Daisy and coach Moises Drumond as the Trojans won four region titles, two sectional championships and advanced to the state final four this past fall. She earned 2011 first team all-region honors as voted on by the soccer coaches and was chattanoogan.com second-team all-area.

Fien also was a region champion in the discus this spring and also a past member of the Soddy Daisy girls wrestling team.

Union College is a member of the NAIA and competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Bulldog women's soccer program is coached by Camila Mendes and was 10-8 this past season.
