The public is invited to attend the Conference on Building Strong Neighborhoods to be held on Saturday, June 2, at the Second Baptist Church on 2305 East Third Street, Chattanooga, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The conference will focus on methods of enhancing and improving neighborhoods.
The guest speaker will be Dr.
Joyce Morley, nationally-known educator, marriage and family therapist. Dr. Morley has many years of experience dealing with educational, family and financial issues that burden and negatively impacts the growth and vitality of neighborhoods. She is a woman of action and a problem solver. She looks forward to working with the Chattanooga Community. This will be a dynamic, challenging and spirited approach to building vibrant communities, organizers said.
The conference will be attended by a Chattanooga Neighborhood Services representative, and other agencies and businesses dedicated to building strong neighborhoods.
