Christine C. “Chris” Lewis, 77, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, April 2, 2012. 

She was born March 5, 1935 in Chattanooga to the late Ed and Vera Campbell. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Henry and her second husband, David A. Lewis.

Chris was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Polly) Henry and Marcia (Dean) Kleto; grandchildren, Millie, Jeff, Nancy, Virginia, Alex and Ellen; great-grandchildren, Bea, Judah and Connie; brother, Bruce Campbell and a sister, Ann Stamey.  

Chris enjoyed spending time with her family, her church, and her friends. She was a kind, caring and courageous woman who will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Gaither officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
