Hamilton County Courthouse Hosts Tyner Academy Student Art Exhibit Reception

County Mayor Jim Coppinger, Commissioner Larry Henry, the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners and Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga invite the public to attend the opening reception of the Tyner Academy Student Art Exhibit, Nature from Scratch.

The reception will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hamilton County Courthouse on Georgia Ave. The reception is free.

The reception for the student art exhibit is part of the HATCH celebration.

Jury Finds In Favor Of Texas Sheriff In Suit Brought By Chattanooga Photographer

A Federal Court jury on Friday found in favor of a Texas sheriff and his chief deputy who had been sued by a Chattanooga photographer. The jury in the courtroom of Judge Curtis Collier awarded no damages to Donna Johnson.
