Here is the Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Weekly Top 10:

#1  Coolidge Park Carousel Hours
Stop by the Coolidge Park Carousel for a ride back in time for $1.  Winter hours are Monday-Thursday, 3-6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, 1-6 p.m. 

#2 Holiday Starlight Parade, Lighted Boat Parade and Fireworks Finale Dec. 8
The Holiday Starlight Parade, begins at 6 p.m. at 5th and Market, travels in front of the Tennessee Aquarium and turns down Broad Street, where it will disperse at 5th and Broad. Following the street parade at 7 p.m. will be the Lighted Boat Parade, organized by Marine Max. Decorated boats will be parading on the Tennessee River between the Veterans and Olgiati bridges. The fireworks display will be shot at 8 p.m. from Renaissance Park, making Ross' Landing the primary viewing area.  

#3 Water Fitness Classes
Brainerd Community Center-1010 North Moore Road:  Water Fitness: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10-11 a.m., Tuesday and Thursdsay at 11 a.m.-noon, and Monday and Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 p.m.  Classes are $2. Call 425-3600 for more information. 

South Chattanooga Community Center-1151 W. 40th: Water Fitness: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesay from 10-11 a.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Classes are $2. Call 425-3550 for more information.

#4 Free Line Dancing at Glenwood, Brainerd and East Chattanooga Centers
Glenwood: Monday and Wednesday, 6 p.m., 697-1284.  Brainerd:  Tuesday and Thursday, 6 p.m., 425-3600.  East Chattanooga: Saturday, 10 a.m., 697-1281.  Fitness Center at Warner Park, Tuesday and Thursday, 12:15 p.m.

#5 Senior Fitness Classes
North Chattanooga Community Center, 406 May St. Walk on the Wild Side Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon.  

Glenwood Community Center, 2610 E 3rd. Senior Aerobics with Rasha Monday and Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., including three-wheel bike riding in gym or outside!. 

Hixson Community Center, 5400 School Dr.  Low Impact Aerobics on Tuesday and Thursday, 9:15-10:15 a.m.

South Chattanooga Community Center, 1151 West 40th St. Seniors Keep Moving, Tuesday and Thursday at 10-11 a.m.

Brainerd Community Center, 1010 North Moore Road. Shuffleboard Mondays at 10 a.m.  Badminton Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10 a.m.  

Wyatt Community Center, 406 Colville St. (N. Chatt). Badminton, Pickleball, Senior Volleyball and Basketball, Table Tennis and more. Call for times and options. 240-1508.

Chattanooga Fitness Center at Warner Park. Lite 'n' Low Aerobics Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:15-11:15 a.m. $1.

#6 Zumba at Community Centers 
Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at Hixson Community Center at 5600 School Dr. 490-9289.  Zumba also offered at Tyner, Patten and the Chattanooga Fitness Center. Tyner: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7 p.m. $3.  Patten: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m., $4.  Fitness Center at Warner Park, Tuesday and Thursay at 6:30 p.m., $1.

#7  Rental for Holiday Parties, from Parks to Community Centers

#8 Kickboxing Class at the Chattanooga Fitness Center
Monday at 9 a.m., $1 a day for any class. For more information call 697-1320.

#9  Food/Clothing Collections
Tyner Community Center will collect non-perishable food items through December to donate to the Community Kitchen. 

The Hixson Community Center is hosting a outreach drive to collect coats, gloves, socks, and blankets. For more information call 490-9289.

#10  Birthday Pool Party 
Chattanooga Parks and Recreation offers birthday parties at both indoor pools. Call 697-1385 for more information. Pools available at Brainerd and South Chattanooga Complex.
