Sharon Ann Smith,64, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of McGaughey Chapel United Methodist Church. Sharon was a joyful person and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Virginia Smith.
She is survived by two aunts and an uncle, Evelyn Sloan and Evelyn and Bill Phillips, all of Dalton; special friend Margaret Currie of Tunnel Hill; caregivers, Joey and Elaine Smith and Elaine McDonald; and numerous other cousins.
A special appreciation to the staff of Shady Oaks.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 26, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 26 from 12-2 p.m.
