Leah G. Yagoda, 100, died on Friday, December 21, 2012 at her residence.

She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and the Beth Shalom Sisterhood and Beth Shalom Synagogue, longtime supporter of Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga.

Leah was preceded in death by her husband, Max Yagoda.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Joel Yagoda and wife, Pam; daughter, Marilyn Yagoda; granddaughter, Sarah Yagoda; nieces, Diane Israel and Linda Counihan; nephews, Larry Garvis and Gary Garvis.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, at Beth Shalom Cemetery at Lakewood East with Rabbi Shaul Perlstein officiating.
