Eula Teem, 94 of East Ridge, died on Friday, December 21, 2012 in a local hospital.

She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class which was a very important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Teem, parents, Suttle and Edna Manning, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her niece and caregiver for over 23 years, Nell Moses, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 3 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with her nephew, Paul Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Spring Cemetery, Rock Spring, Ga.

EPB Says It Did Not Overbill The City; Says City Got $685,877 Break

EPB officials said Tuesday that an exhaustive audit of its street light contract with the city showed that it did not overbill the city. Instead, it said it found that the city was underbilled $685,877. EPB said it only goes back one year on errors so the amount owed by the city would be $178,314.
