Marguerite Price Sutherland, of Trenton, GA and formerly of South Pittsburg, TN, died on Sunday, December 16.

A member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Trenton, GA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Ruth Price; her husband, James Sutherland; her sister, Ella Jean McClain; and son-in-law, Dwayne Linton.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Sutherland and his wife, Linda; daughter, Pamela Linton; son, Daryl Sutherland and his wife, Leigh; sister, Charlotte McGill and her husband, Wilford; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 17 from 5-8 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18 at 11 a.m. Central time with Pastor Clay Moreland officiating.  Burial will be at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

Rogers Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Charles Holsey, 19, Shot On Sylvan Drive During Drug Deal And Later Dies; Involved In Crash On North Market Street

Charles Holsey, 19, was shot and killed Monday night. The preliminary police investigation indicates that during a drug transaction at 310 Sylvan St., a fight broke out and Holsey was shot once.  Holsey then left in his vehicle later wrecking in the 700 block of North Market Street.  One other person involved in the crash was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. ...
