First Family Christmas Concert At First Baptist Church

The First Family Christmas Concert, featuring the adult, youth and children's choirs, with a pre-concert music by the adult handbells, will be on Sunday, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 Gateway Ave. A light supper will follow with performances by the preschool choir and combined choirs. The evening will  conclude with caroling at the homes of homebound members.  

Dr. Thomas Quisenberry will speak at the 11 a.m. worship service on "What Should We Do?," with text from Zephaniah 3:14-20 and Luke 3:7-18.

A Service for the Longest Night will be Wednesday, at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Reservations are need for the dinner at 5 p.m. The service is a place for people who are experiencing difficulties, loss and grief during the holidays and for those who support them.
