Review for Suddenly:
Often referred to as Sinatra’s “lost” film “Suddenly” (1954) is a gritty, classic and controversial film noir featuring one of the greatest entertainers of all time. The film stars Sinatra as John Baron, a hitman driven to the edge, and costars Sterling Hayden. Baron and his thugs come to Suddenly, a small town that epitomizes 1954 America, where they take a family and Sherriff (Sterling Hayden) hostage. They use the family’s house as a perch to take aim at the President of the United States. Will the assassins succeed?
