  • Tuesday, November 20, 2012

Bryan College has been named a “Champions of Character Five-Star Institution” by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Kristin Gillette, NAIA director of Champions of Character, said, “The Champions of Character program continues to grow and impact people throughout our nation as a result of the passion and commitment of NAIA member institutions such as yours. We trust that you will continue to spread the Champions of Character message over the coming year.”

Dr. Sandy Zensen, Bryan’s director of athletics, said, “"I am both delighted and not surprised by the recognition.  The emphasis on character and the personal/spiritual growth of our students is what Bryan has been doing since we opened our doors in 1930. We have simply continued that tradition."
