German Wine Arrives At Rock City's Annual Rocktoberfest

  • Friday, October 5, 2012

Georgia Winery is getting involved with the German heritage of Rock City Gardens this October at the annual Rocktoberfest, every Saturday and Sunday in October.

In addition to live Oompah music, specialty beer, and German food, the event will feature a brand new Rocktoberfest Wine! The sweet German Gewürztraminer will wear a special Rocktoberfest label in honor of the event and Rock City’s German foundation.

Rocktoberfest is available now at the winery’s main location as well as Rock City. Enjoy this sweet vintage German gewürztraminer grape, which offers a strong fragrant aroma and a smooth, spicy finish.

Rock City Gardens strives to serve as a leading cultural entertainment innovator. By partnering with local artisans, along with the growing festival and event calendar at the attraction, Rock City provides high level quality and variety to the hundreds of thousands of guests annually. Rock City is one of the South’s most popular natural attractions.

Known for its unique geological and botanical wonders, the enchanted, 4,100-foot walking trail is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations, a 140-foot waterfall that cascades down Lookout Mountain and the Swing-A-Long Bridge that spans nearly 200 feet.
