Chancellor Howell N. Peoples has joined Miller & Martin PLLC’s Chattanooga office in an of counsel position in the Litigation Department. Chancellor Peoples comes to Miller & Martin after his 32-year tenure as a Chattanooga Chancery Court judge presiding over every type and aspect of civil litigation.

Scott McGinness, managing member of the Chattanooga office, said, “We are thrilled to have Chancellor Peoples join our firm. He has had a long and distinguished career on the bench that complements Miller & Martin's broad range of client services. Chancellor Peoples will focus his practice on mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Chancellor Peoples received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Tennessee.
