Adds Gerbitz To Policy Committee

Howard I. Levine has been reelected to the position of chairman of Miller & Martin PLLC. Additionally, Leah M. Gerbitz has been named to the firm’s Policy Committee, the committee that approves all major decisions for the firm.

Mr. Levine has held the position of chairman for five years and is pleased to hold the title for another two years. He joined the firm in 1964 and practiced in the areas of health care, life insurance and corporate law. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Chattanooga, the Board of Trustees of The McCallie School and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

“I am honored to be reelected as Chairman of the firm and will continue to emphasize excellent client service and community involvement,” said Mr. Levine.

“I am pleased to join the other members of the Policy Committee, a group of lawyers I both admire and respect,” said Ms. Gerbitz. “I look forward to working with the leadership of this firm to focus on client service in providing effective legal solutions.”

Howard Levine, chairman of the firm and current member of the Policy Committee said, “Leah is a well respected and trusted lawyer and I am confident that she will make significant contributions as a member of the Policy Committee.”

Ms. Gerbitz joined the firm in 1994, following graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on products liability and business disputes. Ms. Gerbitz is a member of the board of the Children's Advocacy Center as well as the GPS alumnae. "It is both an honor to be elected to the Policy Committee and to be given this opportunity to represent the firm in this role," said Ms. Gerbitz.
