Jimmie Elaster Luster died on June 29, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Clifford Luster Sr.; son, Clifford Luster Jr.; and her parents, James ‘Jim’ and Mae Rose Elaster.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Neal, Louvenia Robinson, Stephanie Luster, Emma Perkins, James, Larry, Charles (Audrey), Michael (Denise) Luster; brother, L.J. (Sarah) Elaster; 23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Wednesoday at the McCallie Avenue Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Directors.

Man, Child Killed In Crash On Highway 136 In Walker County; 2nd Child Who Was Seriously Injured Dies On Monday

A man and an unrestrained five-year-old child were killed when a vehicle went out of control on Highway 136 in Walker County on Saturday. A 10-year-old in the car was seriously injured, and later died on Monday. The driver was thrown from the van and was dead at the scene.
