A Cleveland, Tn., man is facing federal drug and weapons charges.
Kerry Rogers, of 2086 Wynwood Dr., Apt. 6, was arrested last Wednesday following a raid on his residence.
Authorities said they used an informant to make a drug buy from Rogers on May 4, then executed the search warrant.
They said they found him sitting in a chair in the living room with two pill bottles. One of the bottles contained two plastic bags with crack cocaine. The other bottle had various pills.
Officers said they found a Marlin .22-caliber rifle with scope next to the chair where Rogers was sitting.
A set of digital scales was found in the kitchen cabinet and $1,385 in cash was in a locked safe in the upstairs bedroom. Five .22-caliber rounds of ammunition were found in a padlocked wooden lock box in the upstairs bedroom as well as Bradley County probation cards, a Bradley County court date slip and the business card of a probation officer.
